Well guys, for the people that missed the old Windows 98 Plus! themes, I got these from my old Windows 98 and tried it on Windows 7. Extremely surpising that it worked. Extract the .zip folder and I've learned that you must keep the Plus! folder on the desktop for it to run properly. Otherwise, runs perfectly. Curently running the Nature theme
Copy the Plus! folder anywhere you prefer. Once in there, open it, right click the themes.exe program, in "compatibility" choose to run it as Windows 98.
That's all. From now on, if you want to change your theme, run theme.exe from there and choose the theme you want. It works in Windows 7 x64 (the one I'm using right now, hence why I know it works).
Great if you're picky like me and hate to have a stray extra folder in your desktop.
...man. you know what? i'm almost cry when i found this. well don't laugh at me, that's because this theme reminds me my old times when i'm using win 98! omg, so nostalgic. ...GREAT WORK!
This doesn't work on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit cause, when I used a theme, I always got a blue screen saying there was a problem and i followed the youtube video and the read me. Still doesn't work D; ~Just a heads out to people with windows 7 ultimate 64 bit~
It's very cool, but I still miss the screen savers. Or just my comuter cannot read them? I want the "Mystery" theme's screensaver, I loved that very much
